Impaired Driving (Drugs & Alcohol) Safety Program
The Impaired Driving Division develops partnerships to cooperatively save lives, prevent injuries, and reduce traffic-related health care and economic costs resulting from impaired driving (alcohol and other drugs). We are committed to reducing alcohol-related fatalities to no more than .53 alcohol-related fatalities per 100 million vehicle miles traveled by 2005.
