The Federal Tort Claims Act Staff defends the government against tort suits including, for example, such areas as medical malpractice, personal injuries attributed to the actions of government employees, and Governmental Regulatory activities. This staff is also responsible for affirmative tort claims not encompassed within another staff's responsibilities.
